It's so nutty around here I'm beginning to feel like a squirrel! The house is a disaster, although it's actually in the 'almost done' stage, at least this episode. But it's pretty darned bad right now - and we've got our kids coming in tomorrow night - Dan hasn't been home since August and Janae hasn't been here in well over a year. Any seasoned mom whose kids have flown the nest knows, when they come home - you stop. Not everything, but everything you can. So I'm taking a break, for the next 24 hours to try to clean up a bit, buy some groceries, and get this place put together a bit, then for the next five days to just love on our kids. We've got a baby dedication, the symphony, dinner out to celebrate Don's birthday, probably some big breakfasts, late nights with movies, and too many calories.

So I'll be back next week, to tell you all about my water diet. And hopefully some photos of the post Humpty-Dumpty, put back together version of this place, and all the warm fuzzies we had together.

There's nothing as great as when your kids move out and are all independent, self-supporting grown ups, except maybe when they come home for a vist.
